IOW – Falls right in line with Pastor Steve’s message this morning on the Baptism of Jesus. The context of this verse is referring to the Law increasing trespass but when the law came so did an abundance of God’s grace. So should we sin more to get more of God’s grace? NO! We have died to sin! This is where the Quiet Time Verse comes in. We have died to sin – We now live a NEW life, not one like our previous life where our motives were selfish, now our motives are directed by God’s will in our life, not our own will.
